Red House Solo Trax learning plan gives you the scales, the techniques and the licks you need to solo with confidence.

Starting with just a few notes, Solo Trax systematically builds your knowledge of the entire fret board in both major and minor tonalities. You'll learn how to structure solos with call-and-response phrasing, and to use expressive techniques like bends, hammer-ons, pull-offs and double stops. You'll develop your ear through transcription exercises, and develop your vocabulary with licks in a variety of styles.

GUITAR SOLOIST

Build tasteful solos with the pentatonic scale using expressive playing techniques and call and response phrasing.

SONG REQUIREMENTS:

Student must be able to play at least five complete solos in time with the original recording, and compose and record an original solo over a backing track.

SESSION REQUIREMENTS:

Student must complete at least five jams or band rehearsals where they perform a solo.
