ERIN FISHLER

Performing professionally for 15+ years. BA in Music from Kansas U and Master's in Jazz Studies from Northern Illinois U.

Erin Fishler has been performing professionally for over 15 years, and has taught voice and piano lessons for the last 12 years. She holds a BA in music from Kansas University, and a Master's Degree in Jazz Studies from Northern Illinois University.

Growing up in a musical family, Erin was destined to be a musician. She started performing at a very early age by singing with her parents and doing voice overs for national television commercials. She continued singing with various ensembles throughout high school and eventually earned a spot in the illustrious California All-State Jazz Choir.

Erin's developed her passion for teaching while traveling the country as a staff member of the Phil Mattson Workshops. She eventually joined the faculty at the School for Music Vocations in Creston, IA, and later taught lessons and directed ensembles in various music schools in the Chicago area.

Erin performs professionally in a variety of rock, pop and jazz bands, including Ashanti! Latin Jazz Orchestra, the Hello McFly Band, Band on the Run, Underwater People, Country Sky, Dayna Malow, Tributosaurus, Steve Frisbie, Ladies of the Canyon, Casa de la Luz, and also as a solo artist.
