Band Foundry is the essence of what Red House is all about – a week of rockin' out and playing a gig. You'll join a band of like-minded musicians to crank through a set of your choosing – with a pro Red House instructor helping you pull it all together. You'll learn about chord charts, dynamics, groove and – most importantly – rock and roll swagger!
Ages 10-18. Participants should be capable of playing complete songs at consistent tempos. Free pre-camp instructor consultations are available to ensure proper placement.
Rocktet mixes 4-part creative harmonies in a fun and social ensemble. Take your singing to the next level with arrangements in the style the 'Sing-Off' and 'Glee' with artists such as The Beatles, Katy Perry, Sara Bareilles and more!

Red House's proven guitar method will get you playin' cool songs by Dylan, Hendrix, The Beatles, Green Day and others right from the start. You'll learn the fun way – with power chords, open chords, fun riffs, and killer rhythms – with just enough theory to set you up for bigger things. Taught with with Acoustic Trax curriculum and book.
Ages 10 & Up. Designed for complete beginners, all also great for novice players wanted more fun practice time. Participants should provide their own guitars and accessories.
Build your guitar vocabulary with proven licks that work across a variety of genres. We'll cover essential grooves and phrases in rock, metal, blues and more. You'll get plenty of practice putting the licks to work, and understand the theory behind them. Taught with with Solo Trax curriculum and book.
Ages 12 & Up. Designed for beginning soloists. Students should be comfortable playing basic chords and riffs. Participants should provide their own guitars and accessories.
Give your kids a taste of rock and roll exhilaration with a week-long band immersion – complete with a killer gig! They'll get a chance to try out all the rock & roll instruments, plus learn the fundamentals of rhythm and band etiquette. There's no equipment or experience required – just a bit of rock & roll ambition!
Ages 5-7. No Experience or Gear Required!
Our all new 'Explore' format is the perfect prelude to private lessons! By combining semi-private lessons on guitar, bass, drums and keys with band rehearsal, the kids will learn specific instrument skills and have a chance to use them on-stage. They'll have fun – and they'll want to learn more!
Ages 7-10. No Experience or Gear Required!
Learn the skills needed to engineer recording sessions in Red House's ProTools studio in this hands-on recording course. You'll work through an entire recording project – from tracking, editing and mixing to mastering – and leave with a CD of your creation. Specific topics include microphone and pre-amp techniques, audio editing tools and techniques, mixing skills and approaches, and essential mastering essentials.
Ages 12 & Up. No Experience Required. Limited to 6 participants per session.
Our DJ Workshop is the perfect introduction to the world of scratching and spinning for any aspiring DJ! We'll give you all the skills you'll need to master your turntables, and we'll cover many essential techniques such as beat matching and selection, crowd reading, using samples and loops, scratching, beat juggling, and even creating your own mash-ups and remixes!

Red House's Rock & Roll Summer Camps are lead by our team of professional instructors. For complete biographies, visit our web site at www.redhouselive.com/instructors. Musicians in Band Foundry and Power Chords should provide their own instruments and accessories. Food and beverage service is available at Red House for an additional fee. Participants are also welcome to bring their lunches from home. Private Lesson slots are available before and after scheduled Band Foundry camps for musicians seeking to extend their learning experience. With the exception of the 'Tracks' program, all sessions feature a final performance on the last day of the camp. Family and friends are welcome and encouraged to come! Payment in full is required at the time of enrollment. Summer camp programs are non-refundable within two weeks of the start of the camp session. Refunds prior to that time are subject to a 5% administrative fee. |
